r. Sanjiv Kumar Singh Marya, commonly known as Dr. S.K.S. Marya, is a distinguished Indian orthopaedic surgeon with over 42 years of experience. He currently serves as the Chairman and Chief Surgeon of Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi. Dr. Marya has performed more than 15,000 joint replacement surgeries, including over 3,500 simultaneous knee replacements and 3,000 hip replacements. He is recognized for pioneering single-sitting bilateral knee and hip replacements and introducing computer-assisted surgeries in India. Additionally, he has conducted approximately 283 lectures worldwide and holds several international fellowships, including the AO Trauma Fellowship (Switzerland), Fellowship of the International College of Surgeons (USA), and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (England).
